In-situ Gas Phase Plasma Catalysis at the Advanced Photon Source

Now for something completely different…. 🙂

We just wrapped up in-situ plasma catalysis experiments at the 11-ID-B beamline.  These experiments will help us better understand how catalysts are changing within a plasma-dense environments and during catalytic reactions.  Holy moley!

Our sincerest thanks go out to staff members of the Structural Science Group at APS.  In particular, we really appreciate Soenke, Lynn, and Chuck collective help in making are POS high voltage plasma generator functional.  We’ll be back for more experiments soon, don’t worry!
